I have Windows for my operating system and have used various programs over the years to do mine.
One example I have done are the compilation football highlight videos that feature some kind of hip-hop/rap soundtrack, which isn't my cup of tea. So I download the video and add in my own music. I keep a library of MP3 music files and when sorted by length you usually have several choices of songs to match up with the video's length.
In this case it was Evelyn 'Champagne' King's 12" disco version of "Shame"
