Then he can augment the isolated track and add it back in. It's like lacing out a tree and then adding back all the branches with longer ones. Still the same tree, but the look will be different.

AFA an online tool for this, that I don't know. I do know lots of software is out there for the purpose.

There is at least one AI tool that seems to be able to separate audio into separate tracks. Beato uses it in this video. It's slick. I don't know if he mentions the name of the tool in this video, but it may help you search for the tool.
