Normally we just use a pipe wrench... but with new parts you want to stay shiny... I have used an adjustable pin wrench for such things, looks like vice grips (so adjustable for gap) and has pins on one side, tabs on the other... the tabs could work in this case... lemme see if I can find a link to an example...

Yeah, there are definitely a lot of options if you search on "adjustable pin wrench" - this style might be a decent compromise between cost and quality:
