That little in-line auxiliary expansion tank on later models still connects to the larger exp tank. The fittings for hoses differ. Not sure about the size of the other but they’re big for a reason and have to be sturdy enough not to collapse from the vacuum or swell from gas tank fumes.
Curious - I’d rather relo the horns (if that’s the hold up) and put the cooler on the original passenger side set up.
BTW - Are you deleting the giant 2gal washer fluid tank in fender well and maybe putting in a generic 1 qt washer tank in the trunk too?
