I removed the expansion tank (catch tank?) in the driver's side front fender. I put a "duck bill" cover on the pipe that went to the old tank. This allows pressure from the gas tank to vent. I do not get gas smell in the garage. On a few occasions, I will smell some gas in that area, but hardly objectionable. I have kept the expansion tank tucked under the cowl ahead of the instruments.
