I am considering buying a 911 project and have found a cabriolet that might be suitable. My intention is to convert it into a coupe, using either a whole roof clip in steel or a fibreglass solution (

The steel conversion seems like it’s a major project. Is the fibreglass roof conversion fairly straight forward without the need for cutting the A-pillars and just bonding the fibreglass with the cabriolet’s upper windshield frame? If going with the fibreglass roof I intend to put in a roll bar.
Would appreciate any input.
