I don't know who's right and who's wrong in this debate...i always thought it was copyright infringement to copy a book and re-sell it but Charlie White has been doing this for a while, so I'll assume he's legit.
But at the same token, and this is an ehtical question:
I have two of the late Harry Pellow's books in electronic format (Word and PDF), that I purchased years ago in diskette format.
I couldn't stand the non-formatted ASCII text, so be ing a technical writer, I re-formatted, edited, spell-corrected, and indexed "The ABCs and 912s of Porsches" and "Murphy is My Co-Pilot" on my own time and at my own effort/expense.
Can I make these copies available to the 912 community at a price? for free????
