It would be cool if they all got tight when clocked, but I assume he stopped when they were tight. I suspect you could fit some sort of thin washer-shim under the screws that would clock them.

I think flat headed slotted screws are older than oval headed slotted screws. Presumably these are the original screws.

I was also curious how old it is. If I stumble across the posting again, I'll see if I can find out.
