There are plenty of legitimate sellers here.
Start by checking seller’s post count. More is better.
Check to see if the seller has posted useful advice in the technical forums. This is pretty easy to do.
Only use the PP infrastructure to send seller a PM if you want to buy something. (Per mepstein’s advice)
Do not post WTB ads, or if you do, expect to sift through countless scammer responses.
Use normal internet common sense when making a purchase.
I have had no issues buying from the classified section here.
I dunno, maybe I’m just lucky?
