I don't know how it will fit the later CIS with the tamper proof screw. From the photos of the DeLorean air plate, it seems they may have been the tamper proof screw type.

I sanded mine down a little to get it to fit more easily too. If it gets too stuck in place, you will pull the wire part out of the rubber part, so use silicon grease to prevent that.
