I find it all just facilitating.
This is our house! That is me on the driveway on the right. It looks like it was in our back yard but it was 1.5 miles away from us. It tore the roof off of one house, and tore up some cars in a parking lot. I did not have any film at home to photograph it, so this is from my neighbor across the street shooting video. He gave it to a local TV station, and in the 90s video stills were pretty low res.
I was cupping my hands behind my ears trying to hear it. No sound at all from that distance. It was just a F0.
Watching it come in from the southwest was cool. The wall cloud looked like stacked plates and and it all looked like a bundt pan upside down.
This was just months after we had moved in.
