What the heck happend?? I was going to Raley's for a Latte' and down shifted comming to a corner and the gas pedal goes to the floor and WHAAAAAAAAAAA goes my engine! I am after having the bejesus scared out of me,I am able to shut it off and coast to the curb. Did the accelerator cable break or is there a throttle return spring I need to look at? I can reach in the tunnel near the pedal cluster and there is a lot of slack on the cable but I can't pull it out. Help! I hate the thought of commuting and putting gas in the F-150!
