Genuine EMPI 8 spoke
The real EMPI 8-spokes can be identified by observing the following:
Two-piece construction
EMPI logo cast into lug hole web
Center cap attached by four screws on small bosses
Valve stem points toward EMPI logo
Wheels attached to hubs by studs, steel inserts, cap nuts
I have a set on my 914 that I bought NEW in 1971 for a then brand new VW Superbeetle. I've just transferred them from car to car over the years.
