The tuba does not get much better cooling by air flowing over it. It does not have much surface area, there are no fins. Most the heat is lost with convection and radiation.
You can get a Mocal oil cooler kit for under $300. There is a tech article here on PP on how to install it. I'd do that and leave my side indicator alone.
