I'm about to have driving lights installed along with new H4's (no time to do it myself with upcoming marriage and new house) and am wondering how others have wired their driving lights: relayed through the high beams or as a separate switch on the dash? (Yes I'm installing a relay apiece for high, low and the driving lights - 6 relays in total - this board has helped plenty on that - many, many thanks to all - informative and fun reading!)
My personal preference is via the high beams as I should only really be the driving light when I can use the highs. My mechanic is suggesting a separate dash mount as this is how they were originally optioned and the car is very close to original specs (body anyway).
Has anyone ever encountered a situation where they wanted high beams but not flame throwing HIGHS?
