Sorry to jump in here

I would only use the original A/C hoses, Drier, and TXV for guidance. A new TXV is about $30, Drier $40, New hoses under $100.

You'll probably have a hard time routing the hoses with the fittings on. I know with my installation I couldn't route some of the hoses through the car with both end fittings on.

The Drier is old and was meant to be replaced. The original hoses were designed back when R-12 was cheap, Get barrier hoses. Get a new TXV valve, it is cheap and best replaced while everything is apart.

Things to consider;
- New fan
- New Compressor.
