For Sale Complete A/C System

I have a complete A/C system for a 914 forsale. It is a dpd unit. It is still in the car, everything is there, lines condensor, compressor, the front trunk unit still has the spare tire cone, this is a cone that sits on top of the front trunk unit to stop it form moving. The under dash unit is one of the nicest I have seen.

$300.00

I am very interested and will purchase for the said price if you can reply to the following.
1)assuming the system is 100% intact
2) provide some operational status, ie, was it working, do the fans work, is the compressor and mounting bracket, pulley included?
3) system is removed to preserve the hoses, wiring etc.
4) suitable shipping containers will be used to protect components in shipping.

Thanks

Sorry to jump in here

I would only use the original A/C hoses, Drier, and TXV for guidance. A new TXV is about $30, Drier $40, New hoses under $100.

You'll probably have a hard time routing the hoses with the fittings on. I know with my installation I couldn't route some of the hoses through the car with both end fittings on.

The Drier is old and was meant to be replaced. The original hoses were designed back when R-12 was cheap, Get barrier hoses. Get a new TXV valve, it is cheap and best replaced while everything is apart.

Things to consider;
- New fan
- New Compressor.

Best of luck with your installation, the above system does look nice...

Cheers
Kerry

Thanks
