Also forgot to mention that a good paper history means a lot with a 911. Unless you know the car and owner and feel comfortable with the fact that they have taken care of the car, I would want a descent history on the car.

911's tend to be driven hard and fast and will put up with it if taken care of well. If not or if they have been owned in an area where someone who is not experienced with working on them then they can get in bad condition and fast.

Doing your homework here first is a major step in the right direction!
