I heartily agree with you about the appearance of the Baby Tornadoes. My black car had these on it when I bought it, and they were also the first things I removed (and replaced with stock mirrors).

This operation didn't require filling of any holes, however, since my B.T.'s had adapters that were bolted to the fenders with the stock holes, and then to the B.T.'s with their own holes/screws. The only complaint I had was that some abrasion had existed between the mirror base and the fender, slightly marring the paint. Careful use of polish removed this, however. Anyone contemplating the installation of the B.T.'s
might want to bear this in mind, and make sure the underside of the base is free of grit, etc., so that the original mirrors can be replaced if desired.
