When I re-installed mine, after much head scratching, I decided to use some ATF on the O-Rings, as per the instructions of a Rennlister, then installed them in the manifold. With ATF on the O-Rings, they actually went in pretty easy, I was able to get them all the way in by hand. Then I pressed the fuel rail on by hand (very careful here, if you push crooked, you will risk damaging the injectors), and once it was pretty well seated, I tightened the bolts down to hold it in place.
I have no idea how the clips go on. So mine aren't on correctly, I just slid them onto the fuel injectors to keep from losing them, lol.
No leaks yet =)
