I'm the proud new owner of a '77 911S with 88000 miles. I'm concerned about the condition of the head studs. I don't know if they have been changed out or still original. Is there some way to check these guys without removing and disassembling the engine?
I have noticed one cylinder appears to have a oil leak at the base where it fits into the block. I read in a previous post a leak of this manner could be a sign of stud problems. All other cylinders are bone dry.
