look at it this way, a stock 914 could drive a mile or so just on the fuel in the fuel lines, if you could maintan the fuel pressure. the fuel pump can pump enough pressure and flow for 8 injectors. so do you really think that adding another 1/2 to 1 cup of gas to the lines would matter, now it might act as an accumulator for fuel pressure. so it does not drop at each injector opening, but i would bet the drop does not even effect the running, can we say 1/10 of psi at absolute worse case.
