Had a late 70's wagon in highschool in Alaska. Rust had eaten the fenders so dad and I welded up a safari type cage to protect the car (and me). Car was 4 wheel drive and I beat the crap out of it for 3 years before I left for college. was great for running down small sapplings and fording small streams. It was the only car that would start at 40 below with out being plugged in. Ahh the memories.
