Hello,
I just purchased a stock engine compartment sound deadener pad from Porsche. My question is which side should be adhered to the fire wall--the dark grey foam side or the light grey hardened side? The cover of the Sept. '04 912 Registry shows the foam side adhered to the firewall. But p.32 of the [totally essential] Feb. '88 912 issue of Excellence appears to show the hardened side adhered to the firewall. Any information will be appreciated.
