Perhaps I should have phrased my question a little better.
I am having my engine re-built by an experienced Porsche mechanic.
I have a great friend (different guy) from whom I get a very good discount on Porsche parts.
The mechanic has quoted me 2 prices (at my request) One price is the complete price, the other is the labor only price.
I was hoping if I could figure out what parts I need I could figure out if it was more economical to buy the parts myself, or just pay the mechanic for the whole shebang.
