I had to take all of the ball bearings out of the races and carriers on my CV rebuild. They came packed with moly disulphide, and I wanted to repack them with mobil 1 synthetic grease (red moly), so I had to get them right clean. Man, those things are like a rubix cube the first time you take them apart...
