I just found a photo of the engine bay of a 1976 912E.

I thought that the two engines were largely identical except that 912E uses an L-Jet FI
Is there any more comprehensive list of the differences anywhere? Then owner told me it was more similar to the VW bus engine T4.
Besides the air filter box and air flow meter, from the photo of the engine bay I note:
* The throttle body is different and mounted backwards
* It has a dual outlet heating booster air fan like the early 914 cars
* Is that the fuel filter in the upper left corner of the photo or maybe smog equip? It looks like the fuel filter on my wifes toyota.
* The oil filler cap looks different
