The SC market is in the toilet, especially the Targas. I've passed on lower mile cars with original piant for less than $10K.
Based on what you have mentioned, a repainted Targa with 139K on the clock, hopefully you are getting the friends deal. If not, I would stay away from it. There is a sea of SC and Carrera cars out there right now.
