A mini-rant:

I just drove home from work in one of the worst thunderstorms we've had in a while. Dime-sized hail, rain so heavy you can barely see the car in front of you. Lots of T&L, weather service warnings on the radio of severe thunderstorms and tornadoes. A lot of people just pulled off to the side of the road to wait it out. Yet some people - seemingly all in SUV's - kept flying along like nothing was happening, one of them was even in the left-side breakdown lane - probably oblivious to the fact that he wasn't even on the road anymore. And a couple were on cellphones. But if they plow into someone, they'll blame the weather.
