proposal for the bay area
So here's my proposal...I want to replace the shocks, brakes, and rotors on my 88 911. However I just had newborn twins four months ago and am pretty tapped on cash. I had SAS German Auto (Pleasanton) give me a quote for $2700. Woah....
What I would rather do is purchase all parts from Pelican and have someone in the bay area (possible a Pelican member or the like) do the labor work. Of course I will pay (we can work on a fee) but the 120/hour rate at the garage is too steep right now.
Is anyone interested? I would have even considered doing the work myself if not for my weekends being monopolized by my kids right now.
