Did you use a single part urethane? Unless there's metal on the legs it shouldn't scratch like that. the easiest way to fix this is with a can of urethane and a tiny modelling paint brush. You can stain the scratches first if necessary.
The last time I refinished a floor I used a two-part urethane that's practically indestructible. Varathane makes it. We've got two big dogs and they can't scratch the stuff.
