I'm an assistant public defender just down the road from you in Guilford County (Greensboro). If the officer is able to positively identify YOU (not just your car) at a later date as the person he/she saw speeding, then your goose is cooked! It's just like a bank robbery. Just 'cause you got out of the bank without being apprehended doesn't mean you get away with it! That said, it's very unlikely that the officer can put you behind the wheel (beyond a reasonable doubt) even if he stops your car in the future. Good Luck.
