Will, I don't know of any shops working for a 60/hr rate. Some body shops are down around 75, but everything is flat rated and it usually works out to about twice that. Andial is 95 and my local dealer is 110.
As a comparison, being a master carpenter, I get 65 for repairs to windows and doors, 45 for finish carpentry and 35 for sweeping the floor or whatever they want me to do that doesn't take my $8000 of tools to complete. So, I think Tom and Jimmy are in the market about where they should be for their skills alone (w/o overhead of a brick and mortar).
