From my experience, the rattle is due to the strength of the gears and the layout. I used to work at a Chevy dealer and ALL the Corvette owners would complain about gear rattle. We put a car up in the air and you would swear that there are mini sledge hammers in the box. The engineers said it was entirely normal. It sounds exactly like my G50.
