Contrary to Jeremy's answer...IMHO....there ARE issues with G50 built before April '89..when the factory ( finally ! ) fixed the fork shaft bearing issue...
G50's built from the start ( 87) through early 89 better show receipts for this fix...either from the dealer or aftermarket. The factory fix and parts and fixtures are NLA today, IIRC.....
Symptoms include a heavy pedal that gets worse as the bearing supports go south....
Every G50 will sooner or later have this issue unless fixed.
