The pickle fork did not work for me- after friving the pin out, after much wasted time with a pickle fork, & small 2 ' pry bar I finally got it separated by pushing in on the strut and using a large 5 foot steel bar wedged under the belly of the car and over the a-arm then pushed down on the large pry bar, popped right out. The key I think is pushing in on the rotor/strut creating a better angle for the pin to come out and the use of alot of leverage. Argeo- I don't have my manual with me now but if memory serves me correctly I think it was 33 or 36 lb- the nut attaching the tie rod to the spindle arm. The large ball joint nut is 184 lb. Jerry
