ok now the story of how this all took place...
i took my car to a shop to have them replace my oil pan gastket, rod barings, clutch, and brakes. they pulled the engine to do the work. then when i got the car back, i started to drive away and when i got into boost (14psi) the intercooler pipes blew off. they were never tighened down. and they had re hooked up the vacume line to the KLR witch was disabled due to me haveing an after market boost controller with gauge. then we got the intercooler pipes back on tightend down i drove away thinking every thing was good. not 50miles later (the next day) i was leaving work and i stoped at the exit of the parking lot and my car died. i tried to restart the car with the clutch pedal in it sounded like it was seazed. since they did the clutch. let out the clutch pedal and the car started with a loud knocking and a bunch of white smoke out the taile pipe. not good. so i called a tow truck and had the car brought back to them. they pulled the enginge again and the head just to find this. now i have never heard of this before and i know the ammount of boos i am pushing should not cause this. is there something they could have done to cause this? messing up the rod barings? anything? what would even cause this? i have heard of the problem with bleeding the cooling system causeing head gaskets to blow but would that cause this instead of blowing the head gastket? my head gastket is not blown. i dont really have the money right now though i can get it to fix this. but should i have to pay for it or should they?
