I wanted to show you guys these new sport seats that I bought from Jason Cullen and some other obligatory pics that I've been remiss in posting. About four years ago, the car was a sadly neglected example that was literally hours away from being taken to a salvage yard to be parted out. It was purchased on the extreme cheap, and through the efforts of my motorcycle buddy Dan, a long-time Porsche dealer tech, a two year long project began including an engine and trans tear-down and rebuild, as was the fuel system, brakes suspension, etc, etc, etc. ( you know how it blossoms!!!). After this two year period, it was pretty much totally disassembled for a glass-out, quality respray. During the 2 month paint time, wheels were shipped to Al Reed (what a gentleman!!) and I began to acquire interior pieces. After paint, the interior took about a year to straighten out. I'm sincerely appreciative of the search function of this board as provided by our host. I also appreciate many of you who responded to my inquiries, allowing me to keep going in a forward direction with this project. Guys like John Walker who take time out of their busy workday to answer you are simply amazing. One more thing...let me tell you about Jason Cullen. The seats were pretty much the finishing touch that I was looking for. Toward the end of my transaction with him, it became apparent that he undercharged me by misfiguring some of his expenses. After the seats were completed (simply some of the best work I've ever seen) I called him no less than three times offering to square the issue. He refused, telling me basically that a deal's a deal. Besides the goods he offers being first rate stuff, Jason was patient, courteous, thorough, and an EXTREMELY stand-up guy that I would never hesitate to do business with.
