Hmm,
In my Haynes there is a procedure to cut an access hole to release a stuck trunk lid.
I am somewhat concerned though since, by design, the hood latches are supposed to release when you pull the handle or a cable breaks, If the cable brakes, the spring takes out the remainder of the slack to release the hood.
I recall a number of posts about stuck hoods and a search using terms like: stuck hood latch should turn them up. As I recall, pushing and applying some force sideways sometimes works. Going down a rough road may also jar it loose.
