General prices for a salvage engine somewhere between 60,000 and 100,000 is between 600 to 1000 dollars. If you rebuild it properly, it would definitely run right again, but it will cost you more to rebuild than to replace. The advantage of a rebuild is that you know what you have after that...advantages of different motor....cheaper and quicker to get back on the road. Let me know if you need help finding one.
