Chad - I agree with this as well. You were taking a very similar line thru T3-T4 to what I did my last time at Willow with my V8 914. I was able to go in rather hot and throttle/brute force the car (which oversteers) to plow out to the T4 apex. She was no where near as smooth as you were. I had almost the same thing last time too - I almost rearended the car in front of me. Fortunately Jack's line took him high into T4 or I might have had some serious 'splaining to do.

And everyone would have lynched me for messing up Black Beauty!

The higher line worked better for him (so the line thru T3-T4 is really car dependant - I used a different line in an old 70 Mustang T/A car years ago), but I would have spun taking that high line with my car. He is a great driver and I asked him to tow me around the track, so that would have been pretty lame had I hit him Just appears your car requires the same line mine does and you could go through T3-T4 faster with the better momentum. He was faster than me everywhere else

I was able to "keep up" but I have to admit, getting a tow from a good driver can really help! (not to change the subject - just FYI to other newer drivers out there). I wasn't running quite the speeds he was through T8 until I followed him and it just helped me gain the courage to run it up over 120. We had the same line, but I was able to push it a little more because I wanted to keep up.
