Update: Got the car back from the exhaust shop today. Tonight I'll wire up the O2 sensor, the Vehicle Speed sensor and the sensor simulator box. Then try and clear any CEL codes that may be keeping the engine in limp-home mode.

The cable shifter setup I made will only work for a 901. There are similar ways though for doing a conversion on a 915 or G50. There was a thread recently about 915 cable shifters, and that so far only one or two people ahve done it.
