I wrench on my 951, which I consider a difficult car to work on. (There isn't an unused square inch in the engine compartment.) I'm well familiar the consequences of shoddy work...which is why I do most work myself. I have a trusted mechanic for internal engine work, and another for suspension work. Everything else is mine...
I have given my wife a few lessons on my old S10 before it crapped out, and she did fine....it's just the lessons ended when the truck died.
How do you get at the engine in a Boxster?
