Unfortunately not!
Congress has recently enacted legislation helping military members who have been prayed upon by predatory lenders.
Military payday loans may stop. The
Serviceman's Civil Relief Act also provides some basic protections for activated military members for things like lease termination, capping interest rates and to prevent termination of housing. Unfortunately, there is no general law that prevents crooks from ripping off our brave men and women in uniform!
