The sport mounts will work just fine as engine mounts in your '69. The only difference you will see from the originals is that the wall thickness of the central steel core is a little thinner. I believe they are cheaper than the oem mounts. You will not be able to use them for the transmission mounts because prior to 1971 (at least I think it is '71, might be '72) the mounts are pressed directly into the mount bar of the 901 transmission.

The trick here is to find someone who can press new munts into the bar or find a new bar - so far I have been unsuccessful in doing either.

I have been told that if the transmission mounts are loose you can take out some of the play by reversing the big saucer shaped washers - I haven't tried it!
