It is way too much money considering the car's history. It would be a decent price maybe, if the car had a clean history. I would think about it if it were 35k or less. Otherwise you will loose big bucks when it is time to buy the next toy. And it always will be, no matter what you think now.
Why not take 40k and buy a very nice and pampered C2, first owner etc. Then spend the leftover money for some decent brakes and suspension. Voila!
