"SWB tail happy?" I could not notice a big difference, it is easily controllable at the limit, it is a little more choppy ride, turns in a little easier than the LWB, Like all things there is a trade off, for quicker handling there is some loss of high speed stability. All in all it is rather subtle, I am sure the "tail happy" was mainly due to the tire size and type of the old days. hardly any body runs 4.5 wide bias ply tires for spirited driven any more.
