oh my, you used NAPA tru-stop on a 951??? sacrelige!

tru-stop is napa's cheap line
napa's united line (their top end) is about par for stock brakes, but dusty as well. i can't see blaming pads for nosie though. the rotors on my car are worn, and squeak like mad... i just keep telling myself its the 'sound of performance'. i have some pulsing in the brakes, which means the rotors are probably warped from being so thin - i'll have to mic them and see.

on my previous '85.5 i used napa united on the front, and they were fine, on my '84 the p.o. had installed mintex pads, and they bite pretty well, no noise, but dusty (i've resigned myself to dust - its just what happens with use). my buddy had pbr metal masters on his 951, and they are fantastic. i plan on getting them when i change pads on the 951.
