For anyone else interested in some of my experiences...
Since I tarmac rally my Toyota SR5 coupe I wanted some really potent pads for my fronts, but it is also a daily driver. I had a set of Hawk Blue 9012 Race pads installed. They are typically a club sport / performance track pad. And I went and put them on a street car, along with new OEM sized brembo rotors. I loved them. They are still on there, needing replaced now as they are worn down a bit (along with the rotors) ... at low temps they will not work, and eat rotor like nuts, but at medium to high temp they came to life. Amazing amazing brakes. Lot of dust but only lasted the first few weeks, then cleared up once they were set in.
They need replacing now but I just used them in a dirt rally-x this week.... and they still sure do work, with minimal fade. With really nice rotors I'm sure there would be little to no noticable fade...
