912E's are kinda hard to price, there just weren't that many of them, and they were only made one year. It seems like most people look to get 8 to 10,000 for them. I find that they are typically priced at the same level as the mid year 911's. If it were me I would be looking to pay 5 tp 6,000 maybe more if the car was absolutely perfect. If I am going to pay the same amount as a 911 I'd rather have a 911. Rust is a big issue on cars this old. Particularly on east coast cars! Another thing to pay attention to is that those weber carbs will likely no pass an emissions inspection if you have them in Conn. I hope that helps a little bit. I'm far from an expert on 912E pricing so only use that as one price point out of many. You might want to see what they go for on ebay, and the 912 registery.
